We have begun to develop a few key relationships within the communities around us and throughout London.

* We met with a Muslim man who is forming a non-profit organization to work with Somalian immigrants in London. He has invited us to consult with him on possible ways to help teenagers in this community. We hope to meet with a focus group of Somali teenagers within the next few weeks.

* I met a teacher from a local high school who is a strong believer. She was excited to hear our vision and has offered to open doors into the local school.

* Our team leader introduced us to a Pakistani university student who is a believer. He is very interested in working with us to bring hope to teenagers in London. I hope to meet him for coffee within the week to talk about where God is leading him.

* We met a youth pastor at a local Anglican Church (that is Church of England). He and I met for coffee last week and discussed the state of spirituality amongst teenagers in London. He and his wife live very close and could be a great source of encouragement as we adjust.

* We have been asked by one of our colleagues to walk with a church plant in the city and help them share Christ with their teenagers. We will meet him on Monday (10 Dec.) to discuss how God might guide us.

* We met a man called Tom, an elder at a London City Mission café church in East London, yesterday (6 Dec.). We hope to work with him and this growing church to reach teenagers on The Isle of Dogs.

* We had the opportunity to meet a lady called Sheila at a time of prayer a couple of weeks ago. She has a 16 year old daughter and was very interested to hear where God is leading us. We discussed a possible parenting seminar for parents of teenagers and her eyes lit up. She has been speaking with six other couples about starting a support group for parents of teenagers. She is very excited to partner with us in this endeavor. I will post more later on our plans and how God is guiding this endeavor.

Please pray that these relationships will develop in a healthy manner so that God has the greatest opportunity to work in and through these new friendships.
