I am burdened by the lack of informed parenting that happens around the world when children become teenagers. London is no different. There is an absence of support for parents of teenagers in this city. By becoming part of the solution for this problem, we hope to enter into community with families and share the truth of Jesus with them.

In November 2007 we met a woman with a 16 year old daughter. I began to talk about my views and concerns, and her face lit up. She told me that she had a burden for just this. she had spoken with six other couples who have teenagers that were interested in some sort of support group. So, in June 2008 we held a pilot seminar with six parents of teenagers living in London. Then, in September 2008 we launched a pilot community for parents of teenagers. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Since then we have further developed the seminar and launched an official Parenting Community that has offered multiple opportunities for spiritual conversations.
